I am taking language courses with an elder{I just started } of my tribe, I pray some day to regrasp what has been stolen, forbidden, and outlawed, and then forgotten, so long ago. His name is "Neaseno" {Don Perrot}, he will teach anyone who is WILLING to LEARN the Potawatomi language, he teaches online, he can be found online. He is incredible man, and VERY spiritual, he one of our last fluent speakers of our tribe.

I read, research, shoot my guns, collect books for my library, and travel when I can.

I was given 50% disability by the service upon release, which I am grateful for, but I still work 70 plus hours a week on the back of a steel truck chaining down steel.
I just cut off half my right index finger on the job this April 08 and was awarded perm partial disibilty for my right hand, but this has not stopped me.
I hope to be working in the future somewhere on a Rez or in a federal position with the ability to help our own people.
