whatever is happening at the moment, hiking, star gazing, girl watching, Nascar-speed is wonderful!
Cycling, surfing, skiing, walking, Pow Wows, and going to ceremonies....
oh yeah and photography and working with Photoshop.
Computer repair, cooking on the grill,

Native Music of course, Santana, Hendrix, anything blues, Ry Cooder, Satch of course, and Reggae Roots Style and generely speaking I like to listen to all kinds of music, except Country.

You ask me to plow the ground. Shall I take a knife and tear my mother's bosom ? Then when I die she will not take me to her bosom to rest.

You ask me to dig for stones ! Shall I dig under her skin for her bones ? Then when I die I cannot enter her body to be born again.

You ask me to cut grass and make hay and sell it, and be rich like white men, but how dare I cut my mother's hair.

I want my people to stay with me here. All the dead men will come to life again. Their spirits will come to their bodies again. We must wait here in the homes of our fathers and be ready to meet them in the bosom of our mother.

I watched, as you came out
Walking with your head down, tears
In your heart
Wondering, always wondering.
We sang you a song, the wind and I
But you did not hear
We sing together, always
But no one hears.
I watched as you came forward
And sat down
Looking, always looking.
I danced in your eyes
But you did not see
I waved my arms and waited
As my leaves rustled about you.

And looked up

And recognized me.
