Seeing life in the distance,
I sense the begin
of many steps
Come to us,
Bringing in the eagle
Sending in the spirit
We sending out the voices
Over the trees of many
Looking in the waters
Finding the Great One
Mystery of all us
Bringing back the
Old Ones
Sending in the
new ones,
We feeling the flow
watching the grow of
many hearts coming
Down the Red Road
Bring us the voices
that few knew
but now heard
Grandfather watching
distance is closing
Drums are beating
the spirits growing
Give us the meaning
whispers of past
on eagles back,
Lifting higher the past
into now
we sound the beat
of peace walking
Seeing my grandfather
standing alone, watching
me, knowing the path
of pain
Father of mine, hand in sky
raised to the One, shown
way of child to be
Brown skin mother,
I see begriming
of many things,
wise eyes shinning
Tears shed but I walk on
for is the only ride,
I fly on
Beginning of nation,
we stand with pride
find the man deep
inside
Seeing life in the distance,
I sense the begin
of many steps
We coming for
Grandfathers
promise,
We kept,
New beginning
Old ending
No more waiting
Is voice of past, present and future for all

Songbird sings mountains ring
TV's on, same old story
politics, actors all in glory
Earn a little money
looking for your honey
Trying make it in
the amercian world,
she danced in the rain
hair in braids, winds in whirl
She's just the Indian girl
stuck in the white mans
world,
She needs mother earth
Grandfathers eyes
Sees the fears'
Knows well the cry
Living in past, walking
in future, wondering how
to just get by, she gotta
make it work, give it a
try
Running through woods
Dancing in creeks
looking for answers, she
starts to seek,
Cause we all know
how the song goes,
Shes a Indian girl,
giving life a twirl,
Trying to Get it,
in the american
world,
So she just,
Dances in the rain
hair in braids, winds in whirl
She's just the Indian girl
stuck in white mans
world,

Anger, Self involvement, Racism toward others, judgmental attitudes. Those who cannot look outside their own box. Those who remain Re-Active but not PRO-active in their journey. Speaking without Doing has little Value.

Runnincreek, name that my PaPaw gave to me as a child, running in creeks for days and seasons, still running through the creeks of life. Cherokee and honored to be one, Love the wind beneath my feet. Looking for freinds who will embrace and understand woman with spirit and independent in thoughts. I have made many great friends, native sisters and brothers on this site! If the journey brings only a wonderful friendship, it will be a spirited ride, for both of us will grow in many ways. If it brings more, then may the ride last forever and bring with it the free spirit that flows within the wind of life and may it fill us with the sense of wonderment in every rising sun.
There is not greater honor then having someone share their memories and soul with you. One must keep that safe and place it in their hearts with great dignity and respect, Runnincreek
